The first commercial radio broadcast in the United States

This historic event took place on November 2nd, 1920 when KDKA in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania became the first commercial radio station in the United States. The broadcast featured election returns from the Harding-Cox presidential race, as well as music and other entertainment. This marked the beginning of a new
